Understanding the SRP and Workforce Plannning
Friday 8 October 2021 -Webinar


This workshop for principals and assistant principals will focus on understanding your school’s SRP and preparing an effective workforce plan for 2021.

The workshop will cover:
- Unpacking the various components of the School Resource Package
- Workforce planning and budgeting concepts
- Major issues that impact of staff planning
- Creating a sustainable workforce plan
- Hands on modelling the SRP using your school’s data

 This workshop has been designed for aspiring Assistant Principals and Principals. It will be
delivered by members of the VASSP team: Executive Officer Vicki Forbes, former Principal of
Brentwood Secondary College and former Regional Network Leader; Field Officer Garry Schultz,
former Principal of Belmont High School.

- To orientate school leaders and teachers towards play a role in reducing anxious talk and anxious behaviour in children.

Leading a Thriving School Culture
Thursday 18 November 2021
Location: VPA Office, Unit 2, 13-21 Vale Street, North Melbourne
9:00am - 3:00pm


 This workshop has been designed for Principals, Assistant Principals and Leading Teachers.

The workshop will cover:

  • Bust some popular myths about culture
  • Explore what a thriving culture could look like in schools

  • Discover how The 4R Culture Framework can help leaders create culture in a

    meaningful and intentional way

  • Learn how leveraging existing routines, rituals, role modelling and rhythms enables

    leaders to brings their desired culture to life with their teams

  • Map existing school culture and assess what’s working well, where there is struggle,

    and what needs to be adjusted for a thriving school culture to be fully experienced

  • Experiment with a behavior change framework to help make this work easy, effortless

    and embedded into the way schools are already working
