Join VPA and DET in celebrating our school leaders on Friday August 7, 2020

Principals’ Day is an initiative founded and supported by the Victorian Principals Association (VPA). For over 19 years we have sought to recognise the valuable work performed by the principal class in Victorian Government Schools. It is a day supported by the Department of Education and Training (DET).

Our principals and assistant principal teams are phenomenal, and work tirelessly throughout the year to ensure government schools are places of quality and inclusion. 2020 has been a year unlike any other, and we encourage you to show your support to your school's leadership teams and the amazing work they have done by celebrating Principals' Day. You can participate by:

  • Creating an appreciation clip
  • Holding a virtual assembly
  • Presenting your school leaders with a small gift
  • Making a poster for your school leaders
A poster will be delivered to all schools to hang in the staffroom (as per below).
